What is Erasmus Mundus Joint Master's Degree (EMJM)?

Erasmus Mundus is the European Union’s flagship initiative for Master’s studies, offering joint programmes delivered by consortia — partnerships of universities and academic institutions from Europeand beyond that work together to design and run the programme.

_{If you’re a B.A. graduate — or in your final semester — and considering applying for an Erasmus Mundus, here’s what you should know:}

Mobility across countries: Each EMJM programme includes mobility in at least two different European countries, depending on the chosen study track. Depending on the programme, students will earn either a joint degree (a single diploma issued on behalf of at least two higher education institutions), or multiple degrees (separate diplomas issued by at least two institutions within the consortium).

Prestigious programmes: EMJM offers a variety of programmes, all highlighting innovation, high academic standards, and international reputation. A link to the full EMJM catalogue is available below.

Unique experience: Students can take part in internships with various organizations, research projects, or fieldwork — gaining hands-on experience and applying their knowledge in real-life settings.

Networking: Students have the opportunity to connect with international experts from academia, industry, and beyond — building a strong professional network to support their future career goals.

Scholarships: EMJM offers selected candidate’s scholarships that cover tuition fees, travel expenses, and living costs.
