CHE Joint Degree Regulations
The Israel Council for Higher Education and the Planning and Budgeting Committee have set the advancement of internationalization in higher education as a main target in the current strategic plan (2016/17-2021/22) in order to raise the level and competitiveness of Israeli academia and to strengthen its international reputation.
As part of the policy established by the PBC-CHE for advancing internationalization, the CHE seeks to encourage higher education institutions to offer joint and to facilitate the process by streamlining the CHE regulations on the matter.
Therefore, the CHE decided during its meeting on November 13, 2018 to adopt the recommendation by the CHE’s subcommittee on policy from October 29, 2018 and to update the regulations for submitting joint degree programs dated March 5, 2013, as follows:
