Seminar on Joint International Degrees

 

As part of the Erasmus+ Higher Education Reform Experts (HERE), we invite you to a joint event on Joint Degrees.
Ms. Annika Sundbäck-Lindroos, Head of the Impact Programme at Finnish National Agency for Education will be conducting a workshop and present the importance of Joint Degrees.

 

The aim of the seminar is to make higher education professionals aware of relevant issues that need to be taken into account in the development and management of international joint degree programmes.

The seminar will be interactive and focus on key messages for practitioners.

 

The programme covers the following areas:
• Background, strategic interest and trends related to joint degree programmes
• Rationale and benefits for institutions, students and staff
• Legal framework
• Joint degree programme development
• Joint curriculum development, learning outcomes
• Mobility paths
• Joint degree programme management
• Quality assurance and recognition of studies
 
Higher education professionals, interested in developing and coordinating international joint / multiple degree programmes. These may include lecturers, Professors, administrators, International office staff, Directors of Education, policy advisors.

The Seminar will be held at the Van Leer Jerusalem Institute,  43 Jabotinsky Street, Jerusalem, on Wednesday, September 4th.
