National Internationalization Policy
TAM on National Internationalization Policy: facilitating the development of internationalization in Higher Education on a national level
A one-day meeting with national experts, policy makers and stakeholders involved in internationalization of higher education in Israel, representatives of the Council for Higher Education (CHE) responsible for internationalization/academic affairs. The meeting included good examples and best practices of developing a national policy for the internationalisation in HE.
The content presented contributed largely to the new internationalisation policies presented by CHE recently.
The TAM expert Bernd Wächter is the Director of the Academic Cooperation Association (ACA), a consortium of European and global agencies which support international cooperation in higher education. ACA is a think-tank which promotes innovation and internationalisation in higher education.
Bernd Wächter gave a presentation on "Internationalisation of higher education Scope, activities, strategies."
Also presenting was Ms. Elizabeth Colucci. Ms. Colucci is an adviser and project expert for EUA, focusing primarily on higher education policy, internationalisation and higher education in development cooperation.
Ms. Colucci gave a presentation on "Trends 2015: Learning and Teaching in European universities"
