Online Conference on Behavioral Approaches to Promote SDG on Campus

On December 16-17, 2024, we held the Online Conference on Behavioral Approaches to Promote SDG on Campus. This conference explored innovative strategies for promoting Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in higher education institutions. The event featured three tailored sessions for academic staff, logistical and operational managers, and student leaders. Participants gained expert insights, practical tools, and inspiring case studies. The conference provided actionable strategies and real-world examples to effectively integrate sustainability into their institutions.

About our EU expert

 

 

Henrik Siepelmeyer is a researcher and sustainable entrepreneur with a focus on nudging and behavior change strategies for sustainable consumption. Combining academic expertise with entrepreneurial drive, Henrik works with households, industry, and public organizations to create meaningful, real-world impact. His journey into sustainability began during his studies, where he co-founded and led student initiatives to advance campus sustainability and improve waste management systems. Later, as co-founder of the start-up plietsch, he worked with Germany’s major supermarket chains to make sustainable grocery shopping simpler and more accessible. Now, as a researcher, Henrik explores scalable approaches to promoting sustainable behaviors.
