Collaborative Partnerships

The Erasmus+ programme offers the opportunity to implement Collaborative Partnerships in the field of sport.

The specific objectives pursued by the Erasmus+ Programme in the field of sport are to:

The Actions in the field of sport are expected to result in the development of the European dimension in sport by generating, sharing and spreading experiences and knowledge about different issues affecting sport at the European level.

Ultimately, sport projects supported through Erasmus+ should lead to increased levels of participation in sport, physical activity and voluntary activity.

More specifically,

Collaborative Partnerships offer the opportunity to develop, transfer and/or implement innovative practices in different areas relating to sport and physical activity between various organisations and actors in and outside sport, including in particular public authorities at local, regional, national and European levels, sport organisations, sport-related organisations and educational bodies.

Small Collaborative Partnership

Another opportunity for cooperation is to develop Small Collaborative Partnerships that allow organisations to increase their capacity and exchange good practices and ideas in different areas of sport and physical activity.

Small Collaborative Partnerships Projects aim to:
• Promote social inclusion and equal opportunities in sport
• Support the mobility of volunteers, managers and staff of non-profit sport organisations
• Promote education in and throughout sport and encourage skills development
• Protect young athletes and improve their training and competition conditions

A Small Collaborative Partnership should be composed of:
Applicant: organisation that submits the project proposal on behalf of all the partners.
When the project is granted, the applicant will become the main EU grant beneficiary and will sign a beneficiary grant agreement.
Partners: organisations that contribute to the preparation, implementation and evaluation of the Small Collaborative Partnership.

Financial Mechanism:
The maximum grant awarded for Small Collaborative Partnerships is 60,000 EUR
