Erasmus+ Open Calls for Israel

The Erasmus+ Programme for 2021-2027 is out, but we know it can be tough finding the exact match for your interests among the various actions.

Here you can find two tools to help you - a colorful programme map to help you get an idea of the various actions and a table simplifiying the basic details of each call.

Key Action 1:

  • ICM – Learning, teaching, training & traineeships
  • Key Action 131 – only incoming students from EU to IL and up to 20% of the overall grants
  • EU outgoing VET mobility
  • Youth Exchanges
  • Mobility of Youth Worker
  • Virtual Exchanges- only regional applications with other partners from region 3

 

Key Action 2:

External funds:

  • Capacity Building in the field of VET – Either National (2 or more IL HEIs) / Regional (including other HEIs from region 3)
  • Capacity Building in the field of HE – Either National (2 or more IL HEIs) / Regional (including other HEIs from region 3) / Cross regional (Projects involving Israeli HEIs and HEIs from 2 or more regions - e.g., Region 3 and another region such as Eastern Partnership countries) – Israel can also be the coordinator in these projects.
  • Capacity Building in Youth – only regional applications with other partners from region 3
  • EMJM - Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters Degrees – As long as the degree includes a least 2 study periods at associated country HEIs, Israeli HEIs can also be included as a full partners as well as be the Coordinators of the consortium
  • EMDM- Erasmus Mundus Desogn Measures – Only EU HEIs can be applicants (this is a project with a single applicant on behalf of the HEI group)
  • Centers for Vocational Excellences- Israel cannot be the Coordinator of the project

Participation in Intra EU calls:

  • Alliances for Innovation:

Organisations from third countries not associated to the Programme may also participate as beneficiaries, affiliated entities or associated partners, but not as coordinator, if their participation brings an essential added value to the project.

 

  • Vocational Centers of Excellence:

Organisations from third countries not associated with the Programme can also participate as beneficiaries or affiliated entities to the extent it is demonstrated that their participation brings an essential added value to the project. They can also participate as associated partners.

 

  • Cooperation Partnerships:

However, organisations from third countries not associated to the Programme can be involved as partners (not as applicants), if their participation brings an essential added value to the project and as long as the minimum participation from three organisations from three different EU Member States or third countries associated to the Programme is fulfilled.
