Sustainable Campus Conference
On March 17-18, 2024, NEO Israel held a conference on Sustainable Campuses as part of the Erasmus+ Higher Education Reform Experts (HEREs) forum.
Sustainability is an increasingly critical issue around the world, and this conference aimed to discuss and share best practices on the ways in which academia can advance sustainability on campus and promote national initiatives.

The first day included presentations and lectures on national actions in the field of sustainability, calls for proposals, and best practices presented by experts and policymakers in Israel.
This was followed by best practices developed and implemented in the higher education system in Israel and a panel discussion on opportunities for collaboration moderated by the Erasmus+ Higher Education Reform Expert, Prof. Marcelo Sternberg of Tel Aviv University.
The second day featured a meeting of Energey and Operation Managers at universities and colleges in Israel to discuss practical implications and future collaborations to promote sustainability on campuses.
